Picture This: Ships safe in the harbor

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for."

  1. Ships won't be anchored forever
    Rusted anchor will break free
Its weight will help sink deeper
With a noisy thump, clamor will scatter
The boat will set sail at the end of the day
No weight is sufficiently substantial to succeed
Controlled away to far off land
Hunting down newer shores and destinations
Far from the land of requirement.

    Betty Allen.
